 I know we are a day late but better late than never right? W.I.Y.C got a chance to do an interview with Danisha owner of Poetry & Pins. We came across Danisha on our timeline via Twitter. We would always see her craft getting retweeted or tweeted for the past year and thought she would be a great taste of tea on W.I.Y.C to fill our reader’s CUP with. ( Interview posted below )

What’s your name and what’s the name of your company? – My name is Danisha & the name of my company is Poetry & Pins.

What do you do and what inspires your art of work?  – I run a business that focuses on apparel for artists. With little bits of other things as well, including sexuality and even what’s popular right now. There are many things that inspire my art, but my friends and fellow artists do the most.

How old are you and what’s your sign ( yes I ask everyone their sign lol I’m a Zodiac Guru ] – I’m 23 & I’m a Scorpio. ( Before you say anything, we are not that bad) lol

The most asked question that our viewers love to read…. Are you single? -Yes, I am single. Lol

How can our viewers purchase an item? – I have a website. PoetryandPins.Zibbet.com

Do you customize any work to your customers liking? – I always do, happy customers make me happy. There’s an option on my website for custom apparel.

What’s your favorite piece to design? – I don’t really have a favorite piece. I love them all equally, lol.

At what age did you realize your talent? – 22 It was actually last summer.

Do you have any kids or plan on having kids? – No Kids. One day of course.

What’s your favorite store to shop while you’re out shopping? – Michaels is one store I’ll always love, ART LIFE. Lol

Any advice you wanna give someone aspiring to be a designer? – It doesn’t start off easy, it takes dedication and motivation from those around you. Just never give up.

Would you like to add anything else? – I would like to say that I appreciate all of my supporters and customers, without you all.. my business wouldn’t be as successful as it is.
