I LOST 72 POUNDS!!!

Before I get started on telling you my weight loss journey I need to tell you how I went from 158 to a WHOLE 230!! (SSHHHEESSSHH)! It happened so quick yall!! It was the summer and the next school I was going to be a senior!! I was excited! Being captain of my majorette team and just being overall active in my school. Being that I was an athelete and now dancing, I didn’t like to have periods so I got on DEPO( a form of birth control). WHY I DID I DO THIS TO MY SELF!!! Every damn week I was gaining weight! I was eating buffet style every 20 mins! Fast forward, I graduate at 170-192 (I cant remember).

Me not use to this weight, going from this to that (top and bottom pics), It was uncomfrable but somehow I let myself gain more weight lol

230lbs

This pic (above) is at 230. Now there were a lot of people who said I didn’t look that big. Im only 5’5 how am I holding my weight well, that’s what I was asked often. My answer would be ” Its da booty and I have a lot of muscle mass”! I felt like I looked good but that’s just something I wasn’t use to (almost in a size 20 jeans), I decided it was enough. I stopped depo (there were many other problems with depo, but thats another topic) because at the rate I was going I saw myself at 400 lbs, I’m like NNNOOOOOO!!! lol

So I did this!!! (below picture)

I chopped down my weight and here is how I did it:

1. Stopped Depo
2. Started Body By Vi shakes***
3. Drink water only
4. Eat as healthy as you can stand it
#(BREAKFAST)6am-8am(no later than 8am)- Body By Vi shake, oat meal, or fruit.
#10am -(Snack) Yogurt, Granola, or nuts
#(LUNCH)11:30am-1pm (no later than 1pm)- Tuna melts (olive oil, salt and pepper only), turkey/chicken wraps (wheat tortilla)
#2pm-3pm-(snack)
#(DINNER)3pm-6pm (no later that 7pm)- sautéed or baked food with a side of vegetables and brown rice.
I ATE THIS WAY EVERYDAY AND ON SATURDAY’S I DID ALLOW MYSELF A CHEAT DAY! MEANING I CAN EAT ONE THING THAT I REALLY WANT (ice cream, Moe’s Southwest Grill, chnese food)
5. Exercised daily(I also dance, played dancing games on WII)

That’s pretty much it! I took me 2 months to lose 30 pounds (the first 30pds are the easiest) and the other 42 I lost in less than a year. Results may vary, I was always a small girl before my weight gain. I’m not saying it was a piece of cake for me either because I had to work hard to see these results!
