Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday! I hope everyone has been having a wonderfully sweet week so far and the best part is that tomorrow is FRI-YAY! You just have to hold on a little longer….
So I have decided that every Thursday will be Tech Thursday; which means each week I will write about something tech related. What I’m hoping for, is that eventually either in the comment section below, or on one of my main two social media accounts (my Twitter is @ndaniellexx and my instagram is @pinksugarkisses_xx), that if anyone has any tech related questions they would like answered, they would leave them below/there. Prior to each Thursday arriving, I would read through and pick one of the questions. Then on that following Tech Thursday I will discuss it here in my blog post; (that is of course as long as I can provide an answer for the question lol).
For this first Thursday (and since it’s the first Tech Thursday), I wanted to start this series off by answering one of the most frequently asked questions I’ve gotten since I started posting that I had customized my iPhone without jailbreaking, on my social media. Now although there are still some things that I am unable to do, I have figured out that there is actually quite a lot that I can do with a stock iPhone.
Since this is mainly the intro to this series, I’m not going to get into all the different things available just yet. However, YES, it is possible to customize your iPhone without a jailbreak! If this sounds interesting to you, and you would like to know more about how to customize your iPhone without jailbreaking it, (and just in case anyone was wondering I currently own an iPhone 7 Plus, but I started customizing when I had my iPhone 6 and 6S), then definitely make sure to check in here every Tech Thursday! Each week I will discuss a different part of the customization process and in the end you will know how to do everything I can!
I will explain how to theme your iPhon (so no more boring stock icons), as well as how you can get a customized weather widget in your drop down notifications tab. I will also explain how you can get that same custom weather set we used in the widget, on your lock and home screen; as well as few other tips and tricks I have learned along the way.
I’m attaching a picture below of a screen shot taken directly from my Instagram account that shows one of my most recent setups. By the time this series is finished you will be able to do everything you see below. I hope to see you all next Tech Thursday when we talk Theming 101 (I know, I know….I can be super dorky sometimes lol).
As always feel free to leave any thoughts, comments or questions below or on either of the two social media platforms mentioned above. If you opt to leave your questions on my Twitter or Instagram, please make sure to use the hashtag #WIYCTechTuesday, so that I know you are submitting a question specifically for this series. Thank You again for taking the time to read my blog posts, and remember….don’t ever let anybody tell you, you can’t because YOU CAN and YOU WILL!
