Hugh Hefner, Playboy Founder Dead at 91

On Sept 27th, the businessman who launched Playboy magazine died of natural causes at the age of 9, his company confirmed.

His death was announced via Twitter on Wednesday in a post along with his photo and a famous quote of his ” life is too short to be living someone else’s dream”.

Hugh M. Hefner, the American Icon who built Playboy in 1953 started his business with $8,000 that he raised from family and friends to launch Playboy featuring nude photos of Marilyn Monroe in 1949. Playboy Enterprises Inc is now a multi-million dollar adult magazine. 

He is survived by his wife and four children.
