According to reports, a Dallas man died early Saturday after he was pulled from his burning home in East Oakcliff.
Investigators believed the fire started around 12:30 a.m. in the living room area.
The man, who has yet to be identified was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died, according to, Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans.
No one else was home officials said.
The fire generated a lot of smoke because the home was overflowed with the victim’s property, which made it difficult for firefighters to get around inside, Evans said.
