According to reports, an officer was shot while serving a no knock warrant to an apartment in Oakcliff.
Officers were using the no knock warrant policy when entering a complex to perform a drug raid bust.
After the owners of the apartment knew exactly what was going on they began shooting and shot one of the officers.
The officer was rushed to a nearby hospital and is said to be in stable condition at this time.

Assistant Chief of Police Gary Tittle said the officer’s rifle sling got caught on something in the apartment, and when he tried to pull it free, the rifle discharged into his calf.
The officer was taken to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.
