According to reports, Monday evening a 2-year-old and 25-year-old woman were wounded, which may have resulted from a drive-by shooting in South Dallas.
Officers responded to a call just before 7 p.m to Methodist Charlton Medical Center where two victims had been rushed to the hospital.
The toddler was shot in the shoulder and transported to Children’s Medical Center Dallas.
There are no current updates on the woman’s condition at this time but the toddler is said to be in stable condition.
Authorities said the incident may have occurred near the Thurgood Marshall Recreation Center near South Hampton Road and U.S. Highway 67 in Red Bird.
